Mr. Steinhart, who is both a partner and the managing attorney for the law firm, graduated from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 1993 and has been practicing law in New York since 1994. He joined the predecessor law firm in 2003. He has been a practitioner in landlord/tenant litigation throughout his career and has litigated matters pertaining to both commercial and residential real estate in all five boroughs of New York City. Mr. Steinhart has also been involved in the field of construction litigation and has represented several prominent contractors in addition to insurance defense companies in several Supreme Court actions. In one proceeding, Mr. Steinhart represented a major insurance defense firm regarding the construction work performed at Queens College Law School located in Flushing, New York. In that case he deposed recognized experts in window construction and performance and prominent architects in New York, Pennsylvania and Florida. He has prepared briefs and argued appeals at the Appellate Term, First Department. Mr. Steinhart is admitted to practice in the State Courts of New York and in the Federal Courts, Eastern and Southern District of New York.
