Ms. Myers is a partner with the firm. Ms. Myers is a real estate litigator with a strong background in administrative proceedings before the New York State Division of Housing & Community Renewal (DHCR). Ms. Myers has an expert knowledge of the New York City and State rent regulations and laws. She has also appeared before Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings with respect to New York City Loft Board proceedings. Prior to her association with the predecessor law firm, Ms. Myers was employed by the DHCR for more than a decade. She was the Rent Administrator and Rent Program Manager of the Rent Overcharge Section at the DHCR. Ms. Myers also chaired the DHCR Tenant Advisory Subcommittee on Processing. Ms. Myers possesses a keen insight into the intricacies of DHCR procedure and policy having trained rent examiner staff and assisted in the development of processing procedures which are still utilized by the DHCR Office of Rent Administration. Prior to admission to the bar Ms. Myers also was part of the DHCR litigation unit before joining the predecessor law firm. Ms. Myers was admitted to practice in the State of New York in 1997. She received her Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law. She is also admitted to practice in New Jersey.
